 Ainsley competed in a sparring competition this past weekend. She got first!

After six and a half years, Ainsley has earned her 3rd-Degree blackbelt. The following is a video of the several hours of testing that she went through. Ainsley worked hard for this achievement, not just the past two months, but the several years leading up to it. We're very proud of her. And just for fun, here's a picture of Ainsley when she got her orange belt - about 6 months after starting taekwondo.

Ainsley decided that cookies and milk for Santa would be best if set up on her table in the playroom. 

We've tried visiting Santa in years past but it never worked out - mostly due to the screaming, crying and a refusal to let go of me. This year was MUCH more successful - she didn't want to sit on his lap or next to him on the chair but we were able to get her to stand next to Santa and smile! (The smile happened after she stuck out her tongue and Rob pushed it back in.)

Ainsley was a very tired girl the day her Daddy came home from Milwaukee.

I gave Ainsley a rubber spatula and an upside down dog bowl. Bluebell makes a cameo appearance as well.

This is the first time Ainsley tries a puréed vegetable. She doesn't like it as much as rice cereal.
