Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

Yes, we have found out that Baby is a girl! Rob and I are thrilled and I know that she will be the most loved little princess ever born.

Heartbeat

Yesterday, we went in for our 3 month check-up. Everything is going great. We got to see the baby look like a baby for the first time and hear the heartbeat. Goosebumps.

Dana's Visit

My cousin Dana is visiting my Aunt in Venice this week. This weekend, Carla and I drove down to see them. This was the first time I get to meet Parker and Miranda. My first cousins (once removed) are gorgeous young ladies. :) We went to the beach to watch the drum circle at sunset. Sorry the pictures are blurry, the lighting kind of sucked and I couldn't figure out how to get my flash to work. Regarding the video. Yes, it's private and no, I didn't send out any invites. It's also posted to family on Facebook. If you want an invite to view it on YouTube, please email me and I'll figure out how to do that. I just want to make sure only friends/family that are accessing it there. I dunno, YouTube freaks me out a little bit. Here, my traffic is about a person a week and it's usually Ariel (hi, Ariel!) so I'm not as worried.

Milwaukee

I'm in Milwaukee for business. This is the first time I've been anywhere in Wisconsin except for my freshman year in college when my pledge class went to Madison on walk-out. So far, it's been cold, rainy and wet. Not a happy combination from someone who's only lived in California, Texas and Florida in the last 10 years. However, the weather's supposed to get much better. I'm looking forward to it. Milwaukee itself is a beautiful city. Very historic with large buildings built 150 years ago. It's amazing. The work office is small and just getting established, but cozy. I look forward to two weeks here. And hopefully catching up with a few of the friends I used to know who now live here.
Happy early birthday to me! (Actual birthday is 4/13 - tomorrow) Rob bought me a beautiful coffee machine. It's called a Keurig Gourmet Single Cup Home Brewing System. It uses little disposable packages called K-cups to brew one cup of coffe at time. I can also use a special re-usable cup to make my blend of single cup coffee...or tea...or hot cocoa. It's Fablulous! Thanks Rob! *smooches*

Shuttle Launch

Carla was doing a better job than I was of keeping an eye on the news. Yesterday the shuttle launched into space after months of delay. She grabbed me and we ran outside. Sure enough, we could see the shuttle going up from our house. I'm not going to embed a slideshow this time because it doesn't do the pictures justice. Click below to visit our web album. Sorry

Wow. It's been a really long time since we updated this blog. Things are fine here. We still have a house and a puppy and a kitten. We still have 2 cars and a motorcycle. The weather has been really beautiful - I've been getting up early to sit outside on the lanai before work because it's so pretty. We got a Wii and a Wii Fit and have been playing lots of games like bowling and skiing. This month marks our 3 year anniversary of being married. Rob says we will go out and have a nice dinner. I'm looking forward to it! We'll have some new pictures up soon. Talk to you later!

Third Christmas

We just got back from our third Christmas celebration. Carla and I went to Indiana to see my parents, brother, Nina, and his new baby. Lincoln is even cuter in person. For those who asked, I don't know what's happening with the website -- why it keeps going down. But in order to pursue it I didn't want to take my website offline again. So I'll leave it up for now. Sorry for the ads.
